| Physical Description | Arlowe is thin and slender however looks can be deceiving. She sands at 5 feet and 8 inches tall. Her hair comes down to just her shoulder because it's easier managed and she doesn't want it in the way when she is doing her job. Her eyes are usually rimmed in khol and dark eye liner because they are accented and her eye lashes are usually coated in mascara. It's the only make up she really wears. Lowe has multiple piercings, several in each ear and one in her nose. Her features are noble and gentle, but there is a fierceness to her that asks people not to mess with her. She has a beautiful smile when she decides to actually use it and let it come out. Though for the most part she is often seen busy working and focused on her job at hand. Her body is covered in tattoos. Her hands, arms, chest, legs, there are many spots that are yet to be filled with ink but she occasionally gets new ink for various reasons. Each tattoo has it's own story behind it though she doesn't always talk about them. |

| General Overview | Arlowe is a hard worker, she is the sort to put her job before her pesonal life and before the hobbies that she enjoys to do. For her, the ship running smoothly is not just a job it's her life style. She was raised that hard work would get her everywhere in life and she has taken those principals on ward to the future and to her career. The ship and it's crew tend to come first before herself and her own needs. This makes for little time to date or even have a good selection of friends. Those that wish to be close to Lowe need to be patient and understanding. She isn't an easy nut to crack either. Arlowe isn't mean or anything but she doesn't easily let people in. She guards herself fairly well because she doesn't like to think about someone turning on her and betraying her. The hardest part is her heart, because as much as she would like to find someone to share her life with she is afraid to have it broken again and thus she enters into dating and relationships lightly. Patience is a virtue with Lowe. As a boss, she tends to be understanding but firm. She expects her crew to do their jobs and abhors micromanaging. She isn't a always good at being 'friends' to those that are underneath her but she tries to at least be someone that they aren't afraid to come talk to. Someone that they might want to vent to or to come to when things get a little rough. She wants to be known as fair and probably thinks far too hard about things that she needs to take care of especially when it concerns some of her officers. |

| Hobbies & Interests | For the most part, Arlowe has a secret love for all things music and litterature. She collects old paper copies of books when ever she can afford and buy them because they are so rare. As for music, she tends to lean towards the rock side of things and it helps her concentrate. When she is working on a large project she will often be seen listening to music and enjoying herself. It helps her focus and helps get her into a better mood. If she's in a bad mood or having a rough day a good amount of music or a nice book can pull her back out of her funk quite quickly. Arlowe also likes to practice her marksmanship. She won several awards as a young girl growing up and in the Academy as well for her marksmanship. She usually hits the holodecks for some target practice when she is frustrated and in need of stress relief. |
| Personal History | Arlowe was born, on the USS Salvation, as the baby sister to two brothers far older than her. They were already in their teens when their surprise baby sister came along. Her mother thought it was another boy, but, they were all surprised when she came out. Her youngest brother had a hard time having wanted to have a brother of his own to boss around. But, little Arlowe was what he got. From birth, her father assured the whole family that while she was female she would be treated no differently. He had been in Starfleet a long time as a Mechanic and didn't want his children to grow up soft. He never pushed any of them to join Starfleet but they would not be burdens on the universe. True to his word, he was hard on Arlowe and many times harder on her than he was on his boys. Perhaps it was that she was the last, or perhaps it was that only a few years later they lost her mother to an accident in the laboratory where she worked. Some chemicals had caught fire and the entire building caught. Thirteen lives were lost that day including her mother. Her father tightened the reigns even more so then. Keeping his kids as close as possible and making sure that they were trained well. He taught them how to read, how to write, and sent them to school for all else that they needed to know. Arlowe and her brothers were put into martial arts and all sorts of language classes. They were pushed to study things instead of enjoy life because at some point they would have to pick a career and the more they experienced the more their choices would be sound. Her eldest brother, Roken, graduated first from school. Never interested in following his father's footsteps, he went to school to become a Medical Doctor and transfered off to Betazed where he would work at a large hospital there. Her younger brother, Dez, was more into mechanics like his father and was always in the garage working on various things with their father. Arlowe worked with them, when she could, but mechanics never interested her. Arlowe found that she had a talent for organization and tactics. She was good at seeing a set and finding the weaknesses and learning how to switch payloads around in the computers to make them work better. Computers and hacking became her go-to enjoyment and she found that her talents weren't misplaced. She was good at it and so she practiced that more than anything else. Writing and tearing apart programs when ever she could. She did all sorts of simulations and began to create her own holodeck programs when she was very young. At twelve she had created a whole story board and world that she and her brother would escape to sometimes when they needed time to breathe and they didn't have anything else to do. Once Dez left the ship, having joined the Academy to be a mechanic like his father. Now Arlowe became his sole project. He pushed her hard, harder than anyone else. Stating that people would see her weak because she was female. She would have to work twice as hard, and do everything she could to become someone. She needed to make it so that no one could ever question that she slept her way into whatever position that she had achieved. He reminded her that the world was cruel to guard herself and not be an idiot. So she worked hard, throwing herself into her studies, she already knew she wanted go to the Academy and a few years later she was accepted. Academy life, for the most part was good. She worked hard, excelled at her studies, she was never top of the class but she got good grades. It was there she met the boy that would close her off from the world. His name was Zan, he was good looking, charming, and everything her father had warned her against. The two dated for months and she fell hard and in love with the young man. As an Engineer Cadet, they spent a lot of time together working together since she was in the Ops program. However, it would not be long lasting because just six months into the relationship she found him in an empty classroom with another girl. He had been cheating all along. She was one girl of many and as the realization dawned on her she closed herself off and found herself unwilling to open up again so easily. Instead, she worked harder, and graduated with honors. Her first ship was the USS Endeavor. She worked on that ship as an Ops officer for several years before she transferred to another ship. This one was a beautiful ship known as the USS Avenger and it was here she would spend a gross amount of her time. Until she then received the promotion to Chief and a transfer to the USS Pandora. |
