| Personal History | Olivia was born in the lush countryside of Worcestershire, England on Earth. Raised by parents who were Starfleet Officers, she was very often moved around from Starship to Starbase as she was growing up. It seemed only natural that she would follow in her parents footsteps and become a Starfleet Officer herself. Enrolling at Starfleet Academy the day after her 18th birthday she settled in straight away, her natural aptitude for Operations soon shone through, and her interest in Archaeology and Anthropology as well. It was while she was at the Academy that she met, and fell in love with future husband Daniel. After graduation the two were married and assigned to the USS Solstice. On a routine patrol, the starship strayed over the Neutral Zone due to a navigational malfunction and was immediately attacked by several Romulan warbirds as it tried to get back to Federation space. The Solstice suffered major damage. It's Captain and XO were killed as were most of the senior staff. Daniel and a few others managed to get the surviving crew to the life pods and safety. Olivia escaped thanks to Daniel, but Daniel and several others were taken prisoner. Olivia practically set up camp on the doorstep of Starfleet Headquarters campaigning to get Daniel and the rest of those taken freed from captivity. When a prisoner exchange was finally arranged Daniel returned to Olivia much quieter and an introvert. It has taken all her love and support to get him to open up even with her. When Daniel was reassigned to the USS Yorktown, Olivia found herself assigned elsewhere, such is the Starfleet life. Not that she was very happy about it. She has worked hard trying at every opportunity to get an assignment alongside Daniel. She has since been assigned to the USS Pandora. |
