Player Awards & 2025

Greetings Crew!
2024 has come to a close and we're looking forward to a new year with new adventures for the USS Pandora. Before we do so, Theta Fleet has announced their awards for the year, quarter, and month, and we'll start with those recognitions:
Theta Fleet Awards
Player of the Year: CF
Our very own writer extraordinaire CF has been awarded as Theta Fleet's Player of the Year. This is a truly well-deserved recognition for a player who has contributed so much to not only the Pandora, but to all of his other sims as well. CF brings creativity, passion, and community to his work and it has been a tremendous honor to sim with him for so many years. We are incredibly lucky to have him onboard as Mindo and his merry band of Engineers, and I am also so thankful for his leadership in the game as well. He has brought renewed energy and ideas to the Pandora and for that, he is our Player of the Year.

USS Pandora: Award of Merit
Our sim was also given the Award of Merit by Theta Fleet for our work in December. I know it was a busy time for everyone but I'm so proud of the work we are doing as a group to create original, interesting storylines and for keeping our mission going strong. We have received this award a number of times throughout 2024 and in previous years (6 times in one year!), but it always means so much to me that our sim is recognized for the content we are creating. I hope we can take this as encouragement to keep writing our stories and to keep having fun on the Pandora.
CO of the Quarter: Capt. Temple
It was an honor to receive recognition as Theta Fleet's CO of the Quarter. My passion is for writing and being able to lead this group of players is my reward. Without you guys, I would literally be talking to myself, so thank you for being part of the sim and keeping the Pandora going. I have tried other ships and sims, but nothing compares to the Pandora.

2025 - Eight Years and Counting
Our sim has now been flying and storytelling for EIGHT YEARS! That is such an achievement and it's all down to every player showing up, contributing, and having fun. I know we had our period of inactivity there, but we've had an incredible comeback and we're flying high once more.
We have a new mission about to begin with "Outside the Box", which CF is leading. This will be our journey into the Neutral Zone to retrieve the Pandora and begins the new era for the sim. CF has been cooking up ideas and taking us on this brand-new journey, and personally, I am having so much fun now exploring this new story for us.
As always, we are the writers, creators, and audience for the Pandora. It is up to each of us to keep the engines running and to keep the ship flying. I encourage everyone to write as much as you want to, tell the stories that interest you, and get as much enjoyment out of being here that you can. This is your ship with your characters - let's make 2025 the best year for our sim.
