Aeryn was just making her way back to her office when both she & Krysia stepped into the turbolift at the same time, “Just the person I wanted to see” Aeryn smiled as she looked at Krysia, “do you have a few minutes to spare?”

Krysia smiled politely “I can make time, Ops can manage without me for now lead on Counsellor.”

Following Aeryn back to her office Krysia took a seat on the sofa and waited for Aeryn to sit down & join her, “So how have you been Krysia?”

“I’m fine Counselor” Krysia smiled the best she could given the fact that she’d recently had her argument with Owen.

“Really?” Aeryn looked at Krysia, “So that’s why you’re blocking me from sensing your emotions? there aren’t many people who can do that and you’re doing a very good job of it.”

“I’m blocking you?” Krysia was surprised she didn’t even know she was blocking Aeryn, “sorry...” she paused for a moment to let herself relax. “Is that better?”

Aeryn nodded, “Better” she smiled, “you’re still learning just what you can and can’t do aren’t you?”

Krysia nodded, “Pretty much, being an empath and telepath isn’t the easiest thing in the world as I’m sure you agree Counsellor.”

“Indeed” Aeryn nodded, “now I’m sensing you I feel that you’re feeling quite emotional at the moment, any particular reason why?”

Krysia nodded, “I had an argument with Owen, he’s doing the big brother thing and I understand he’s just looking out for me but I’m old enough to take care of myself. I can’t help who I fall in love with and I trust James, I don’t believe he’d ever do anything to hurt me.”

Aeryn sat back in her chair, “You have to remember that Owen has only just found about you being his sister, he cares about you Krysia, I’m sure he’s just looking out for your best interests” she smiled, “just enjoy having a protective brother.”

Krysia smiled warmly, “I got so angry with him Aeryn, I lost my temper & I shouted at him” she sighed, “I’m not sure we’re going to see eye to eye on this and who knows what else we won’t see eye to eye on.”

“That’s all part of family” Aeryn smiled, “I’m afraid I’m running short of time but I will need to speak to you again to follow up on Doctor Brookes advise so please let me know when you’re available.”

Krysia nodded as she stood ready to leave, “That’s a promise Counsellor & thank you”

Aeryn smiled and nodded, “Thats what I’m here for.”
