Aeryn was walking hand in hand with Tyson as they strolled along towards the Arboretum, she couldn’t help but smile as she thought about the fact that if she’d stayed in her quarters, as she’d considered doing, she’d now be missing out on this.

Tyson walked along the arboretum with Aeryn. It was nice being along with chill company.

“I was just thinking what I’d be missing if I hadn’t come out tonight” she smiled warmly as she looked at Tyson, “I’m glad I came now.”

He was watching Aeryn. He was comfortable and had enjoyed her company the few times they had met. "The same."

"Are you always so relaxed?" Aeryn smiled as she looked at Tyson, "every time I've met you so far you've been so relaxed" she thought about asking about his past as she'd already read in his personnel file but thought the better of it.

"You make it easy to be so relaxed." He replied while smiling looking at Aeyrn.

"It just makes a change to meet someone so relaxed, most people have worries about something & most ship's doctors have everybody else's worries to contend with" she shrugged her shoulders, "I'll admit I normally sit around and mull over any worrying patient problems."

"Thats a commitment to burn out right there Ms. Jameson. "Stop worrying so much. Enjoy yourself more."

"Actually... I'm enjoying being here with you" she smiled warmly.

He chuckled. "Good." Brookes didn't know what to say, anything he said always sounded corny. "I like being here too." He nodded. "with you."

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to embarrass you" she blushed, "I didn't come here with any expectations, I was, and am, just enjoying your company. As a counsellor I try not to make judgements or have any expectations, as a woman... I get to watch people come and go & advise on relationships but it does tend to feel lonely sometimes." she smiled as she looked back at Tyson, "like I said no expectations."

"Of course." Tyson shrugged "No pressure. Definately not an expection at all."

Walking along beside Tyson, Aeryn was so busy looking around the various trees and plants in the arboretum she didn’t see a small slope off to her one side that just happened to be slippery thanks to a prior group of children that had visited & played in the stream, one minute she was standing beside Tyson the next she was sitting on the grass with Tyson next to her as she’d dragged him down with her. She sat for a moment before bursting into a fit of laughter, “We couldn’t do that again if we tried!!”

Brookes laughed. They both lay in the grass, tripped up. "That wasn't fair, you literally grabbed me down! I could have at least broke your fall."

She turned towards Tyson as she moved to get up as she did so her footing slid on a wet patch by the stream and she landed on top of Tyson’s chest. “I’m sorry!” she pulled herself up looking at Tyson as she did so, “Are you...” she paused as her eyes met his for a moment, “....alright?”

"Yeah," He laughed relaxed and chill. "

She smiled at Tyson’s natural calm manner, she sat up out of his way but found herself unable to take her eyes off him. “Are you sure you’re alright?” She gently reached out to tidy his hair and brush some dirt off his clothing.

Tyson searched Aeyrn’s face and body language, as she had seemed receptive to him with their playing around. After a moment of Aeryn dusting off some dirt off his baseball t-shirt, shorts, mudded. He leaned in, placing his large left hand behind Aeyrn’s neck, setting a mounted and warm kiss, their two lips tasting each other slowly.

Aeryn willingly returned Tyson’s kiss, it had been a while since she’d last had a romantic relationship and it felt good to be here with Tyson. As their lips finally parted she stayed close to Tyson, “I was hoping you’d do that” she gently touched his face, “maybe we could continue this somewhere more private?”

His hand along the side of Aeyrn's waist, her small petite body feeling soft. He then leaned in slow to plant another kiss, this time a bit longer, and with a bit more stylized control. Tyson broke it after a sly grin escaping. "Sounds Awesome. As long as you're ok from the fall?" He replied.

"Might have to check you out without a tricorder."

"Forget the tricorder" Aeryn smiled, "you can check me over for yourself back in my quarters!" she grinned as she hit her comm badge. =/\= "Computer two to transport directly to Counsellor Jameson's quarters" =/\=

As the shimmer of the transporter faded Aeryn stayed sitting beside Tyson, "Feel free to check me over all you want Doctor" she grinned a wry grin. "I can assure you I'm fine."

Taking another kiss, Tyson walked along leading Aeryn to her bed in the quarters. As he did so he kissed up the side of her neck and around towards her ear, along doing this he was able to smell her fresh hair.

A gentle, but playful directional push of her smaller body onto her satin sheets bed, the lights in the quarters turned down low, the stars of the outside port windows gently twinkling... Tyson sliding his strong hand up along Aeyrn's smaller body underneath him, her golden hair in strands ontop of the bed.

--- Sometime later ---

Aeryn lay wrapped up in Tyson's arms her head on his shoulder "I wasn't expecting this tonight" she smiled as she looked up at him.

"It happens. It comes along when you least expect it," said Tyson." He nodded and gave a chuckle at Aeyrn. She was awesome, smart, kind, affectionate. How did she just drop into his lap this way, er, well chest.

"Well let's just say I'm glad it did" she smiled as she raised her head and gently leaned over to kiss him, "You don't have to go back tonight do you.." her fingers gently trailed across his chest, "I'd like you to stay tonight."

He blushed. "Definately don't need to think that one over..." He leaned in again for a kiss.
