A few hours after the birth of their son Krysia was given permission to go back to what had become her quarters which was also shared with other families something that she'd gotten used to. On their way there she took a seat in the XO's chair cradling their newborn so that others on the bridge could see him and learn of the decision that she & James had come to with Aurora's help as to his name.

"Can I have everyone's attention for a moment" Krysia smiled as she waited for quiet as everyone turned to look their way.

"James, Aurora & I have come to the decision that we'd like to name our little one...Nick, in honour of Captain Temple." she smiled at James and playfully ruffled Aurora's hair.

She couldn't help but feel emotional when a small round of applause broke out amongst those gathered, wiping her eyes she was more than happy to let baby Nick be passed amongst those gathered so they could see him. She felt more a part of what had become their extended family now and it meant a lot to her that everyone appreciated their choice of name.

"I think that's enough celebrating for now" Louis smiled as he appeared from sickbay, "you and Nick are supposed to be resting Krysia."

"I know" she smiled, "I just wanted to let everyone know our decision that's all."

"Good, now that's done it's off to your quarters to get some rest. You've had no complications this time and I want to keep it that way."

Krysia smiled as James helped her to her feet she had to admit she was still feeling pretty exhausted and a lie down was something she'd been planning to do. Louis took charge of Nick and followed on behind them.

Krysia lay down on the couch in the ready room, surprised to find the room empty of other people.

"They're going to give you some peace & quiet to get some rest" Louis smiled, "they asked me to let you know."

"Tell them thank you on the way out please Louis" Krysia smiled as she rested her head on a cushion, it didn't take long for her to fall asleep while James sat enjoying time with his newborn son & Aurora her little brother.
