Returning to hers & James' new quarters Krysia smiled as she walked inside & looked around it was pretty bare so far but once all their boxes of things were sorted it would feel a lot more like home. "That was a lovely night, thank you for talking me into going."

Giving her a kiss he said, “ We all needed the distraction, and it looked like most of the crew turned out for the talent show, I’m happy you enjoyed yourself.”

She smiled as she looked around "So what do you think?" she turned to look at James, "Do you think we could get a nice area set up as a nursery for the baby? I have to admit I'm looking forward to buying baby things this time around" her smile faded a little, "I still feel like we've lost two children & our grandchild it's hard to get used to them not being there."

Walking to her side James put his arms around her, “I feel the loss too, but now we can have a do-over, we can have those children, and eventually become grandparents.” James looked around the room and smiled, “So were would you like to set up the nursery.”

"Well to start with the baby will be sharing our room but I'd like to decorate the small bedroom that's off the side of ours for the nursery for when the baby is ready to move in there." she grinned. "I can hardly believe this James we're actually having a baby!" for the first time since their return from the bubble her smile beamed.

James smiled, “I’m happy as well, with everything that happened in the bubble we need something good to happen, and I can’t wait until our baby is born.”

"If the Captain does decide to let us off ship even if it's just for a short time I'd like to have a look at some maternity clothing as well as baby supplies. I know I can replicate larger uniforms but I'd prefer to treat myself to something new to wear in my off duty hours and we certainly can't replicate a cot or crib so we'd need to organise getting that if not now then later on. I also wish I could knit!!” She paused and smiled at James, "I'm sorry...I know I’m getting carried away. I’m just excited that's all."

“It’s ok to get carried away, I’m excited to help with the shopping. What we can’t replicate I’m sure we can find it at station somewhere or maybe Paradise Outpoat might have a few shops we can look at.” James laughed, “I’m so happy to see that you’ve been in good mood. Having some more kids on the ship will keep everyone busy.”

"Yeah it will plus it'll add a few more students to the nursery & school too!" She yawned. "I had a talk to Aeryn today about my blood compatibility condition, she was pretty reassuring so I guess that puts my mind at rest a little. She also said to drop by sickbay if I have any problems with my morning sickness. Which will be the next thing, I did feel a little off this morning" she yawned again.

James smiled, “What I have heard Aeryn a good doctor, I trust here to take good care of you, but right now it’s my turn. Time for bed.”

"Bed it is" she grinned, "Give me a minute to take my makeup off & I'll join you in the bedroom." she gently kissed him on the cheek before heading to the bathroom. It didn't take long to get her makeup off and get organised for bed, heading back into the bedroom she slid out of her dress before sliding under the covers to wait for James to join her.

James tidied up a bit while Krysia got ready for bed. Looking around he smiled he couldn’t wait to start working on the nursery. Heading into the bedroom he joined her into bed.

Cuddling up to James she gave him a romantic kiss before laying her head on his shoulder. "I love you James Smith, I'm looking forward to when we get to tie the knot and I can be Mrs Smith!" She grinned, "I really hope we get time to do that before I get too big a bump I'd like to look nice in a wedding dress." She yawned again. "Anyway....time for sleep."

I look forward to us getting married as well, I’m hoping we can do it soon. James held her close as she drifted off to sleep. He laid there and thought about his the death of his wife and daughter, and those dreams still kept him up at nights. While he was scared of loosing Krysia and their child he was determined to keep them safe at all cost. As he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep he smiled a bit as he thought about his life now and how fulfilled it now was.
