With Dorian’s appointment done, Krysia filled out her report for Nyx. The session itself hadn’t given her any cause for concern, quite the opposite she’d agreed with Dorian’s assessment, but she had to wonder if he’d managed to twist her way of thinking to bring her around to his view. Not that she’d word that on any report Nyx would be likely to see, however she was curious about what he’d mentioned about Cailus.

She sat back in her seat to look over the report, making sure she was happy with how it was worded.

Counsellor’s Report for Dorian Rochester

As per your instructions I have assessed Ensign Dorian Rochester.

I find Dorian to be of sound mind, he gives me no immediate cause for concern in his behaviour or motives. We have spoken at length about Dorian’s motives and feelings with regards his actions in the ‘bubble’ and, how he now feels regarding those actions.

I feel that Dorian is not currently a risk to the ship or crew, he seems truely sorry for his actions, which he seemed were his only course of action at the time. He has since, like all of us who survived the bubble, had a lifetime during which to consider his actions and has come to regret them.

In my opinion Ensign Rochester is a worthy candidate for a second chance, I would however not recommend a position of total responsibility until such time as Dorian has had the chance to earn the trust of his superiors again.

On another note, I was personally left to wonder if Dorian has managed to convince me of his motives a little too well, hence my recommendation of airing on the side of caution with his reassignment.

Pressing the send button She sent off her report, hoping Nyx would be happy with her assessment.

Walking over to the replicator she got herself a tray of nutritious nibbles and a warm milk, not wanting a cold drink. Sitting back down she had a bite to eat as she organised her appointment schedule, finishing off her nibbles she drank her milk, finishing it off it wasn’t long before her eyes got heavy and she didn’t even remember drifting off to sleep.

In her dream she was back in the bubble, losing her temper with Dorian Rochester all over again. She’d actually enjoyed standing over him, watching him cowering infront of her as she’d invaded his mind, intent on planting the memory of what he’d done to Nyx so deeply in his mind that he’d wake up screaming every night for the rest of his life. She hadn’t done it, Shae had brought her out of her hate filled, emotional attack before she’d had chance but the fear of others...no Nyx and Owen finding out what she’d been willing to do, scared her more than anything else.

She awoke in a cold sweat looking at the chronometer to see she’d only been asleep a few minutes, but her dream had seemed a whole lot longer. Her thoughts went back to Dorian it had seemed almost a relief to be able to talk about what happened with him, she needed to talk to someone and James would be the best person to talk to next time they were home together.

Getting up she headed to their quarters to freshen up, ready to get on with her duties.
