Paradise Station
Krysia had spent what seemed like a long time, looking around the marketplace hoping to find more information on the whereabouts of the runaways. She was almost sure she knew where they came and went from but she couldn't prove it and the shopkeepers were protecting them, which was nice but unhelpful.
She was starting to tire from spending so long on her feet so she decided the best thing to do was to return to the ship and wait for another time. Her face was a little too well known to the shopkeepers now but hopefully she'd gain some trust that way, although it seemed unlikely at present. Returning to the travel system she waited while she whisked back to where she needed to be to disembark the station and return to the ship.
USS Pandora
Arriving back aboard the ship a few minutes later she was happy to be able to relax her mental control, all the minds on the station were quite a drain when you were trying to keep them out but back aboard ship she could let her control return to normal and relax her mind. She frowned as she sensed an air of something....she couldn't really explain, call it suspicion or doubt, combined with worry and concern and it would be somewhere near correct.
Shaking it off as emotions stirred up by being here at Paradise she made for her office, she needed to put together a report detailing what she'd been doing on the station so far and what her feelings and suspicions were about the children. It was all relevant information in their continued efforts to find the two children.
Walking into her office she replicated herself a snack and a drink before flumping down onto the sofa to rest her aching feet and stiff back. She might only be three months pregnant but it was already taking a toll on her energy reserves, not to mention swollen ankles! She filled out her report making sure to read it over to check she hadn't omitted any details or observations before sending it in.
Deciding to take a few minutes personal time she stretched out on the couch, having a sip of drink she put the glass down before fluffing up a cushion and resting her head on it. It didn't take long before she was sleeping peacefully on the couch.
