Mission: Death in Paradise
Location: James and Krys Quarters
Timeline: Wedding Night

Krys lay entwined in James’ body, a fine layer of perspiration made her skin glow in the faint light of their bedroom. With recent events and the time they’d spent apart their love making had been somewhat frenzied, even from the starting kiss. Frenzied yet gentle giving that she was carrying their children, and now she lay holding onto James’ body like he’d disappear if she dared let go. “I love you so much!” She ran her fingers gently across his chest.

James held Krysia close, “I love you so much too.” He replied. “Can’t wait until the babies are born, my life is so much fuller with you in it.”

"Nothing makes me happier than being with you." She lay her head gently on his shoulder. "This whole thing must have brought back memories of losing your wife and daughter. If I was in your place I'd have been worried that history was trying to repeat itself. For what it's worth I'm never going to leave you, I want to make you the happiest man alive and I'm going to do just that especially now I'm Mrs Smith!" She looked at her wedding ring.

James held her close and smiled, “I feel the same way, ever since you came into my life I’ve found more meaning to it, for me it’s like I’ve been given a second chance and I don’t plan on anything happening to you and the babies. With everything that has happened since being at Paradise I was concerned about things repeating themselves but I had to believe that everything would be ok.”

“I’m just glad it’s all behind us now, and we can get on with our lives." Her smile beamed.

James kissed her tenderly, “I’m looking forward to spending our lives together as well, and with the twins coming our lives will be so much fuller. Just wish your father could be here.”

"Me too!" She nodded. "He still doesn't know I exist but hopefully Owen will be able to take me to meet him soon."

James nodded, “I’m sure Owen will take us both to see him soon, I’m sure he would be very proud of you, and the successes you have made during your career.”

Krysia smiled as she propped her head up on her new husband's chest. "So where did you want to be off to for our honeymoon? Is it still a surprise or are you willing to tell me now?"

James smiles, “I’m still keeping that to myself, I’m hoping you will really enjoy it.”

"Well I trust you and I've no doubt you'll make it something for me to remember." She smiled as her fingers continued trailing over his chest. "I still find it hard to believe that we came together under the circumstances that we did. I still find it spooky when I see the photograph you have on the side, it's just strange how much I look like her."

James looked at the picture of his late wife and daughter, smiling he said, “You May look like her but I love you for who you are. You helped me see that I could move on and continue to live my life. You mean so much to me.”

"I promise you James, I'll never leave you." She gently lifted her head and leaned forward to kiss him.

Kissing her back James nodded, “I know that, but I also promise not to let history repeat itself, don’t know what I would do if anything happened to you.”

"Nothing is going to happen to me, st least not if I have anything to say or do about it!" Krys grinned. "Rot now.." She yawned. "I just want to finish off the perfect day cuddled up in the arms of my husband."

James smiled as he held her close, “This was the perfect day wasn’t it”

Feeling safe and secure in James' arms Krysia was soon sleeping peacefully.

James looked over at his new wife, their was so much in store for them in the years to come. With the new additions to the family who knows where there careers would take them as long as it was together that was all he cared about. Slowly James drifted off to sleep as Krysia layer in his arms.
