Having spoken with Aeryn, Krysia was feeling a little more relaxed than she had but her mind was still going over what Owen had said. Stepping into the turbolift she decided to head to see James, if Owen had concerns then it was only fair she mentioned it to James plus he had a knack of making her feel better.

As the doors opened she stepped out into deck 4 and headed for the Intelligence offices, it wasn’t long before she heard voices and saw James wrapping up a meeting not wanting to interrupt she hung back until he was finished.

Smith saw Krysia enter, but continued with his final few notes “....the data retrieved from the Carnage is our first priority. Anything no matter how small bring to my attention or to LT Ryan’s attention. We need to find out where the Ravagers are hiding, what their next move could be, or if they are laying low. Looking around Smith said, “Any Questions.” Looking around at those gathered around him Smith said, “Dismissed.”

Smith looked around as his staff started their tasks before heading to Krysia, he had been thinking of her and was glad she had dropped by.

Krysia nodded as James motioned her towards his office, walking inside she sat in the nearest seat. “I hope I’m not catching you at a bad time?”

Smiling James sat next to her, “No, you can stop by any time, are you doing ok, you look a little stressed”

She massaged her temples her own stress levels were starting to give her quite a headache, “I had an argument with Owen...” she looked up wearily at James in front of everyone else she had to keep up a good front but she didn’t feel the need to do that around him, “I know he’s just doing the concerned brother bit but...” she shook her head, “he questioned our relationship and what I know about you...”

Smith nodded and made it a point to get to know Owen better before replying, “I understand where he is coming from, I had a similar discussion with Nyx. For me he has been the only family I really have. He expressed his concerns, but told me that if I was happy he was happy for me.”

James reached out to hold her hand, “remember Owen is your big brother, he wants what’s best for you. Also I love you and wouldn’t do anything to hurt you at all. You know that I’ve been through a lot, with me loosing my family, to me being tortured on a few occasions but I’ve tried to learn from those experiences.”

“You don’t have to explain anything” she smiled as she looked at him right now she wanted nothing more than to feel his arms wrapped around her but on duty wasn’t an appropriate time. “I don’t have any doubts about you or us. I would and always will trust you with my life.”

“I trust you as well, for the first time I feel like I can truly express myself, and I feel that I have more to live for than just revenge. I have more to look forward to now then I did before we met.”

Krysia smiled warmly, "You have a knack of making me feel better you know & of making me see sense. I was already considering that maybe I owed Owen an apology, now I KNOW I do" she grinned, "Thank you James."

James smiled, “You are welcome, and maybe we should plan a little dinner between us and Owen, I would like to get to know your family better.”

Krysia nodded that sounded like a good idea, “I’d like that” she looked at James curiously, "Do you like movies?" she looked at James curiously as she stood ready to leave, "Mindo & I were talking about maybe having movie nights for the crew sometime, might be a fun way of going on a date."

“I love movies, just haven’t really took the time lately.” Smith stood-up as well, “It’s a great way for the crew to come together and interact with each other, and It would be fun to make it a date night and watch a movie with you.”

"I want to hear all about what you like & don't like" she smiled, "I want to know everything there is to know about James Smith." she looked around before leaning over to give him a kiss before straightening her uniform and heading for the door.

Smith smiled, “That’s a discussion for another time, let’s have dinner tonight and see what the chef can come up with for us, I’m always curious about the ideas he comes up with as well as the dishes that have become a favorite among the crew.”

“I’d like that” Krysia nodded, “I can’t think of anything I’d like better than be able to spend time with you, I’ll see you tonight” with that she turned and headed out of the door.
