Aeryn was milling with the crowd trying to look comfortable, like others she'd seen she'd chosen to wear a long slim dress hoping she'd blend in with the other women when she saw Tyson who looked like he was enjoying himself walking over she smiled warmly as she approached him. "So what do you think Doctor?, are you going to become a regular here?"

"Its not bad." He was a bit embarrassed to be enjoying such a lame game in front of the Doctor. He put his hand in his pocket, and swallowed.

"To be honest I'm not normally a party-goer but it wouldn't look good if I stayed away plus Lieutenant Richmond told me to get out & socialise!" she grinned, "I usually just stay in my quarters."

"You? Stay in your quarters your the Counsellor, don't you have the licence to tell others to get out of theirs?" He laughed.

At the bar, Tyson called the tender over, who was working over time he had seemed. "Can I get you something to drink? They also serve alcohol here."

"Just something sweet and non-alcoholic please" she smiled, "alcohol doesn't always agree with us Betazoids and I don't usually drink it anyway. I see Krysia is enjoying herself..." she motioned towards where Krysia was enjoying herself with James, "she looks relaxed enough now."

Tyson ordered both of them Coca Colas, a popular drink for hundreds of years he had learned. "She’s well."

"Well she's due to come and see me soon" Aeryn looked at Tyson, "don't worry Doctor I'm sure between us we can help your friend" she smiled, "between us it's obvious that you care about Krysia maybe a little more than you'd care to admit."

He took a drink from his glass, as he handed Aeryn her drink. Brookes face a slight confused.

"Sorry!" she shook her head annoyed at herself, "once a counsellor always a counsellor, hence the reason I don't go out to parties much plus it's not much fun going out on your own."

"No it isn't." He thought to his self. The Counsellor is single? Wait. No. Hello. Are you seeing, er' reading this in my head? Tyson had become a bit paranoid.

“What?” Aeryn looked at Tyson curiously, “let me guess, you’re wondering if I can sense your every thought?” she grinned, “don’t worry I could but I wouldn’t it’s considered a violation of privacy and of body. Unwanted telepathic probing of the mind is considered a crime.”

"Oh... Right." He nodded, and then he took a drink. Looking around the room there was alot of people. Many different species of humanoids he had never been in a room with.

“Would you mind if I called Tyson?” Aeryn smiled warmly, “ calling you Doctor when we’re off duty seems silly, please feel free to call me Aeryn.”

"For sure, right." He nodded. He accepted her asking to limit names to first basis. "I see this has been a good idea for Mindo this party", he walked along in the Arcade with Aeryn. The different machines each in themselves a work of art. The designs, the art, effects of the age and the sounds.

Aeryn couldn’t help but grin, if eyes could pop out of their sockets on springs and go back again she had no doubt Tyson’s would be doing so right now at the various sights. “You’re just loving this aren’t you?”

He chuckled.

“You have that ‘kid in a candy store’ look about you” she smiled the biggest smile yet, “it’s nice to see someone with such a look of awe and wonder about them.”

"Its gnarly, a total choice job. Not only the Arcade but the Pandora. She is a great ship." He was proud to serve aboard.

“Like I said I don’t tend to get out much” she shrugged her shoulders, “I prefer to be snuggled up under a blanket relaxing and enjoying myself, I normally just read or catch up on whatever I have to hand at the time. Although I admit there are times when I’d like some company.” She smiled as she saw Krysia and James having fun together.”

Tyson was watching the other couple and then turned his own eyes to gaze at Aeyrn. "We don't have to be bored." He stated 'we' as infering the two of them. "Lets go for a walk to the arboretum." He lent his hand out.

Aeryn smiled as she took Tyson’s hand, “Let’s go"
