Krysia sat waiting for Louis to finish off his tests over the past nine years she and James had tried numerous times for a baby to give Aurora a sibling but no matter how hard they'd tried they simply hadn't been able to conceive another baby. She'd felt a pang of jealousy when Shae had gotten pregnant & felt the pain for her when she'd lost her child too. Now here she sat waiting for Louis to tell her the results of tests as to whether she was still able to conceive she was only 41 but it felt a risky age to be trying for anymore babies.

"I have some news Krysia" Louis smiled warmly, "I believe congratulations are in order, you're pregnant!"

I'm what?" Krysia looked at Louis, "did you say...pregnant?"

" I did" he nodded, "it's been a long time coming I know but you're finally pregnant."

She sat looking at him in surprise "I'd given up hope of ever hearing that, its caused a few heated moments between James & I but I know he'll be ecstatic to hear it!"

"So how far along?" it seemed a silly question.

"Just short of 12 weeks" Louis smiled, "hence the queasy stomach you mentioned, you never gave thought to morning sickness did you?"

Krysia shook her head "No I didn't" she grinned, "I have to tell James he'll be so excited!!!!"

"Well I'm excited for you" Louis grinned, "Just no overdoing it this time I don't want aother dramatic birth from you just a normal one."

"Deal" Krysia smiled as she stood up kissing him on the cheek, "thank you Louis."

"My pleasure now go and tell your husband that he's going to be a father again after all this time & Aurora that she's going to have a baby brother or sister."

Krysia nodded and left what had become main sickbay and headed back to her quarters, she couldn't wait to tell James and Aurora the news.

Arriving back anyone standing by the door would have heard shouts and screams of delight from inside as the family celebrated the news. James had immediately pulled her up a chair and made her sit down to rest and Aurora had run off to tell her small collection of friends the news that she was going to be a big sister.

As for Krysia she was happy just to be cuddling up with James without the stress of feeling like she'd let him down again not that he'd ever said anything to make her feel that way. Resting on his knee she simply cuddled up and enjoyed the feeling of being held by him again.
