With the meeting over and her change of position coming as a nice surprise Krysia had been to her old office to clear out what few personal things she had there plus her own PADDs that she kept for notes grabbing the latest set of reports from Ops while she was at it. For the moment it looked like Owen was going to be doubling up as Chief Ops as well as XO so she decided to let him know that the office was ready for him. Arriving at his office Krysia pressed the chime and politely waited for Owen to call her to enter.

"Come in," Owen said absent mindedly as he read through the latest shipwide report to see how repairs were progressing now that they en route to Paradise Station.

Krysia smiled as she walked into the office and over to Owen’s desk, “Just thought I’d drop off these reports from Ops for you Owen” she placed them down on his desk. "I've cleared my things from the office so it’s all yours until a replacement comes along although I’m happy to help if you desperately need it & my Counselling schedule allows!” She grinned.

"Well I have to say, I never thought that I'd back in charge of Ops again...but you've done a great job so far," Owen admitted. "I hope the next Chief Operations Officer, whoever that is, can keep up such a high level of quality."

Seeing that she had a PADD with her, Owen was naturally cautious. "So, what can I do for you today?" He asked.

“Actually while I’m here I do have something to ask” she handed him over the PADD with hers & James official request for family quarters on it. “Captain Temple told me to ask you to sign off on a transfer to family quarters so I’ve made the official request as required.”

Owen got up from his desk and walked to Krys. He took the PADD Handed to him and pressed his thumbprint on it. "Consider it authorised," he said. "I'll have some quarters organised by the time we reach the station so that it gives you plenty of time to get moved in."

"Thank you Owen" Krysia smiled warmly, "This is all so exciting, I lived one life in that bubble but it feels so much....more special being able to live it again this time having my brother around to enjoy it."

Owen smiled at her enthusiasm. "Well I'm also glad your back and that you get a second chance so to speak," he admitted. "You have so much ahead of you and James and this is a great step for you both."

"I'm still looking forward to meeting our father at some point, I'm not going to let being pregnant change that plan plus it'll give us some extra special news to tell him won't it?" She was almost jumping up & down for joy.

"Yes it will, Dad will love the idea of being a Grandfather," he said. "Gods knows he was hoping that one day I would provide him with Grandchildren but that's not going to happen for a while, what with Jane away on SCIS duty." Owen thought for am moment.

"With our current orders and the situation on Paradise Station, I was going to invite him but with the volatility of the area, its not safe to expect him to bring the Maiden out here... We'll catch-up with them once the Pandora is back in Federation space and its safe for us to meet," he explained.

Whilst Owen had no worries that his father could handle himself and that the USS Maiden had a very capable crew, putting another Federation Starship in jeopardy was not the best course of action and there would be plenty of time to catch up with them.

Krysia nodded "I’ll look forward to it” she smiled “Anyway I'll let you get back to work I have my new office to sort out and organise a talk with Aeryn as to where I stand with the Counselling appointments." She grinned, "I'll see you later Owen."

"No worries Krys, enjoy the new office!" he called out as he returned back to his paperwork.

“I will” Krysia smiled as she looked briefly back before turning & heading on her way.
