With the search for the children over Krysia had seperated from Cailus and her security detail and made her way to the marketplace to take another look around and see if she could find the baby supplies she wanted. She had just finished paying for some items when she received a call from Aeryn.

Cutting her shopping trip short Krysia returned to the Pandora. Making her way to sickbay she was worried that might be something wrong with her last set of bloods especially with her problem of having a rare blood type. She walked into sickbay and looked for Aeryn smiling nervously as she walked over to her.

"Krys thanks for coming." Aeryn smiled warmly. "I'm sorry if I worried you, you can relax as there's absolutely nothing wrong. I needed to run another scan on the baby, the last scan image wasn't totally clear and I'd like to run it again if you don't mind? Now your pregnancy is a more advanced it'll be easier to get a better image.

"Of course!" Krysia smiled with relief that there was nothing wrong. "Just point to which biobed you want me to use."

"How's about the biobed in the corner" She pointed. "It's a bit more private than most being away from the door."

Walking over to the biobed Krysia hopped up onto it and lay down, she was getting used to the routine by now. She was full of excitement at the thought of seeing her baby on the scan as she waited for Aeryn to get everything she needed to run the scan.

"Ready?" Aeryn smiled as she walked over to the biobed. "This won't take long and then I'll show you the results." She ran a new set of scans checking the readouts on the computer as they came through. "Just give me one minute." She smiled warmly as she looked at Krysia. "You can get up again now if you like."

Sorting herself out Krysia sat up on the biobed waiting for Aeryn to show her the scan results.

"Okay..." Aeryn grinned as she looked at Krysia. "It seems the original scans were hiding a little something" She pointed to the new scan. "This is your baby....and this is your other baby!" She grinned. "Congratulations Krys you're having twins!"

"Twins!!" Krysia sat for a moment, she was thrilled but shocked all at the same time. "Twins....that's one....heck of a surprise!!"

"I know!" Aeryn smiled warmly. "It's going to change our plans for your care but it's nothing to worry about. Now go and find that husband-to-be of yours and let him know the wonderful news! I'll have the scan images sent across so you can show James. Any worries you can come back and see us anytime." She turned them turned back. "Sorry...any questions?"

Krysia paused to think. "Does the scan give us a better idea of just how far along I am?" She looked at Aeryn curiously.

"Looking at the readings I'd go with just about three months, give or take a few days." Aeryn smiled warmly. "Given the differences in gestation between your Betazoid and Drax halves the due date could be something of a guess, we'll see about that nearer the time as the twins grow. We may need to have you in early for delivery anyway depending on growth and how your body copes."

Krysia nodded. "Thank you Aeryn. I appreciate everything you're doing for me. I guess I'd best go and find James and tell him the good news!"

Aeryn smiled and nodded. "My pleasure! I'll be doing some research into Drax pregnancies to familiarise myself with any differences but I'm not expecting any major changes to normal procedure."

Krysia nodded. "In that case I'll leave you to it." Turning she grinned like a Cheshire Cat as she headed out of sickbay to find James. It looked like their lives were going to get very interesting in the next few months.
