Krysia awoke from her sedative induced sleep feeling calmer & clearer headed than she had, she took a moment to wake up properly before propping herself up on her elbows to look and see if James was still there relieved to see that he was she smiled as one of the nurses came across to her.

“He’s doing okay Krysia” the nurse smiled, “would you like a pillow to make yourself more comfortable?”

“Please” Krysia nodded and smiled, waiting for the pillow to be put into place before lying back on it.

Aeryn was hanging around sickbay, her head still didn't feel right after events in the transporter room but she was clear headed enough to be able to do her job. She smiled as she walked over to Krysia's biobed.

Krysia was keeping a watchful eye on James from her biobed when Aeryn walked over to her, she switched her gaze from James back to Aeryn and offered a smile. "Hello Aeryn. It's good to see you again."

"It's good to have you all back" Aeryn smiled, "How are you feeling?"

“I’m okay” she sighed, “I’m not a crazy emotional mess like I was earlier but I won’t feel properly better until James is awake.” She massaged her temples, “I’ll explain everything properly when I’ve had some time to process it.”

"Can you tell me anything about it?" Aeryn took a seat by Krysia's biobed. "It doesn't have to be in detail just what you're comfortable with."

"I can give you most of it if you wanted it, short story....we lived out our lives in that bubble, at first we lived our lives thinking that everyone else had disappeared before we realised that we were stuck in a bubble. James & I had a daughter...Aurora, a son...we named him Nick in memory of Captain Temple and eventually we had a granddaughter...Samantha." she lay her head back on the pillow, "Now they're all gone & it's a case that they never existed!!" she fought back the need to cry again.

"It's okay to be upset" Aeryn placed her hand gently on Krysia's, "I don't understand how you can remember events from the bubble so clearly but they were obviously very real to you. Since you're the first person awake I haven't spoken to anyone else about it to see what they recall but it will be interesting to see."

"And if no one else remembers?" Krysia looked at Aeryn, "You'll think I'm crazy!"

"I'll think nothing of the sort!" Aeryn smiled, "I'll just be here to help you through it, you believe it and that's all that matters to me."

"Thanks Aeryn" Krysia smiled feeling a little better, "I wish James was awake, I just want to hold onto him and not let go!"

"Don't worry I'm sure Tyson is doing everything he can for everyone. Once you've rested I'll arrange for you to sit with James okay?"

Krysia nodded and smiled her first genuinely happy smile since waking up. "I'd like that."

"Okay" Aeryn stood, "finish resting and then I'll have the nurse get you a seat so you can sit by James' bed."

"Agreed" Krysia nodded and relaxed herself back property on the pillow. "Thank you Aeryn I appreciate your help."

"That's what I'm here for" Aeryn smiled warmly. "Now get some rest." With that she headed on her way.
