Departing the Captain's ready room Krysia headed for Ops to find Lieutenant Commander Morgan, he was already busy doing system checks in readiness for meeting up with the Pandora.

"Could you use a hand Commander?" she smiled warmly at Will, "I'm Krysia Kaleri Chief Ops for the Pandora, Captain Roa has given me permission to help out while I'm waiting for transfer."

"In that case Lieutenant" Will smiled as he motioned to the Ops console, "There's a batch of checks due back anytime and I was about to start running the second batch of system checks, feel free to get stuck in."

Krysia nodded and sat down at the Ops station, she had to admit it was strange being at the Operation console of a ship that wasn't even her own and it was also a class of ship she'd never served onboard before, she'd have to double check the read outs of unfamiliar systems with Will but apart from that she'd be okay.

The first set of checks were soon rolling up on the console in front of her she skimmed the read outs as they came up on the console, Transporters were looking good & functioning within normal parameters, Main Deflector and Sensor Arrays were also coming back okay.

Krysia tapped the console to initiate system checks of the Emergency evacuation systems including the Shuttle bays, bay doors, and shuttlecraft medical facilities. You never knew what you might find and it paid to be ready for just about anything the last thing you'd need in an emergency would be for something to not be working properly or not working at all.

She had to admit she was hoping they'd get to rendezvous with the Pandora soon, she hated it when she was in limbo between assignments it made her feel like she didn't have anywhere to call home & she wanted to get settled again and have that place once again.

Sitting back in the chair she kept her eyes on the readouts as they scrolled up on the operations console, it looked like they were having problems with one of the bay doors not a massive problem but in time of emergency that could prove a big problem.

"Commander" she looked towards Will, "the doors in cargo bay 2 are reporting back with a problem, shall I dispatch an engineering party to take a look?" she looked up as Will leaned over her shoulder to take a look at the readout.

"Looks like we'll need to" Morgan nodded, "have them run a full diagnostic on it, we can't have any problems when we need those bay doors."

Krysia nodded and tapped her comm badge, =/\= "Bridge to engineering, please despatch a team to cargo bay 2 to run a full diagnostic of the bay doors. Keep us updated on progress please." =/\=

She sat back in her seat and waited for the next set of readouts to come through.
