Krysia had left James' quarters & was making her way to the bridge when Owen's voice came across the comm asking her to join him in his office. Walking up to the office door she pressed the chime and waited for Owen to call her to answer.

Sat at his desk going through the regular department reports, Owen called out "Come in," as he heard the chime. He looked up to see Krys walk in.

"Reporting as ordered Commander" she stood in front of Owen's desk in a professional manner waiting to see what she'd been summoned for.

Owen finished up the report he was reading before placing the PADD back on his desk. "I just wanted to say what a fantastic job you've been doing on board so far... Your really settling in well."

"Thank you" she relaxed her posture and looked at Owen, "I get the feeling there’s more to it than that, have I done something wrong?"

Owen decided to be to the point on his concerns. "I wandered by your quarters last night to have a chat about having you meeting Janet but you weren't there on the several occaisions I stopped by... we’re you in your quarters last night?" He asked.

"No I wasn't in my quarters last night" she looked at Owen, "I was with James ALL night" she couldn't help but feel a little annoyed it felt like he was checking up on her.

Owen got up.and walked around to.stand before Krys. "Can I ask, do you know everything you need to know about this guy? He is an Intelligence officer after all..." He enquired.

"I know everything I need to know about James..." she shook her head, "I can't explain the bond I feel with him, it's like he's the one I'm meant to be with Owen. He lost everything thanks to the Ravagers, his wife & daughter were killed now he's got a second chance with me."

"I understand that he's been through a lot of personal pain...as have you... I just want you to be careful Krys," he said gently. He could tell she wasnt taking his concern the right way at all. "You've both jyst transferred to a new ship and its a busy time... Just be careful."

Krysia bit her lip, she’d always had a fiery temper “I don’t want to argue with you Owen...” she paused for a moment, “you’re just doing the protective big brother bit I know but I’m used to relying on my own judgement.”

"Whilst that maybe the case, I do have a right to... See it from my side... I just discovered I have a sister who has been hiding on several ships I served on just so that she could meet me... Thats pretty sneaky stuff," he explained. "How do you know this isnt something similar?" He offered.

“I LOVE HIM!!” she stopped herself there knowing she’d regret anything else she might say in a temper, “If you don’t mind I’d like to get on with my duties..”

Owen looked down at his boots for a second before looking back at Krys. "Very well, but all I ask is you be careful ok? I'm a big brother... I'm allowed to do that," he cautioned. Owen walked around back to sit behind his desk. "If theres nothing else Lieutenant..." He said firmly, returning to XO mode.

Turning to leave Owen's office Krysia paused for a moment as if to turn and say something, before changing her mind and heading for the bridge.
