After the incident in Engineering, Lieutenant K'Laus faced a lot of heat. There were repercussions for actions and his career was hanging in the balance, quite possibly endanger of being ended with a swift kick in the ass and a push out the nearest airlock...or so it felt. Even if he were somehow sparred the full force of punishment from the top down, Lieutenant K'Laus needed to pull his act together. He needed to learn to control his anger and better fit in with this crew. They were not Klingon. They were not Talarian. Trying to work alongside them and with them as if they were either of the two was not going to work. He needed to better understand the crew aboard the starship Pandora. All of this lead him to one place: The Counselor's Office.

Career counselling, anger management, and working out his own personal issues. This was the place to do it. If it could be done, it had to be done here and it had to be done sooner rather than later. The Klingon was perhaps more nervous than he had been in his entire life. No beast, no enemy, no war was more terrifying than having to face Doctor Mera Richmond, Pandora's Ship's Counselor. Lieutenant K'Laus approached her office doors, practically shaking. His hand was trembling as he reached forward and his the chime to her door and awaited her response.

"Come in." Mera said sternly toward the door. Intensity was not something that she liked to bring into her meetings, but the situation that had transpired in the Engineering called for nothing less.

Taking a deep breath, the Klingon walked through the parted doors and looked around the office. He had been in there only once maybe twice before when Dr. Laurel Oakley was Ship's Counselor briefly before being transferred to a different assignment. Even then, he was only in Oakley's office for a handful of minutes to go over his recent crew performance evaluation. Oakley's decorations were different, the layout of the office had been rearranged. Dr Richmond had undoubtedly sought to make this place her own now. "Good morning, Counselor" said the Klingon, a PaDD pressed firmly against his chest. It contained specific orders that K'Laus was to have anger management sessions and undergo a full psychological evaluation. He was off duty and would remain so in accordance to having been placed on suspended leave for the time being. "I was asked to give you this" he said as he presented her with the PaDD. It bore the signatures of Captain Nycolas Temple, Lieutenant Commander Owen Nash, and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Machwen Adaestron.

Mera took the PaDD while remaining seated at her desk and gave it a quick once-over to confirm the orders before looking up to acknowledge the Klingon. "Good morning, Lieutenant. Please have a seat where ever you think you will be most comfortable. I will join you once I finish this up." She gestured toward the far end of the office where there were two leather couches sat perpendicular to one another across from a dark bay window. Because they were meeting under orders she had to follow stricter protocol than the usual voluntary session. She spent the interim time intializing her logs and sensors to ensure that she was following orders perfectly.

"Take your time" replied K'Laus being as pleasant as he could. His behavior was everything now. His every move and action were under scrutiny, and rightfully so. When you attack the Chief Engineer and dangle him over the upper level railing of Engineering, you have to pay certain prices. The Lieutenant took a seat as suggested and waited for the woman to join him. You can do this. You have to do this. Your career is partially in her hands he thought.
