Krysia sat and waited for everyone with the exception of James to depart the meeting before looking towards Nyx. “Captain....can we talk to you?” She felt decidely awkward given his reaction to their news in the bubble but the situation was totally different now. “James and I... have some news.” She looked at James then back at Nyx. “It seems my pregnancy in the bubble wasn’t quite so far fetched as it might have appeared....I’m pregnant, Sir.

Nyx barely had a moment to relax after the meeting before being surprised by this news. "Well!" He exclaimed. "That is very good news." The Captain jumped up from his seat and immediately went over to his officers to shake both their hands.

Krysia smiled the biggest smile yet, "Thank you Captain!" she looked at James then back at Nyx. "To be honest I was a little unsure how you'd take the news."

Smiling as Nyx shook his hand he said, “Thank You, like Krysia said we weren’t sure how you would take the news.”

"To be perfectly honest..." Krysia paused for a moment, "The events of the bubble universe still feel so fresh like they really happened and given how you felt there...I know events never actually happened and even if they had these circumstances are different..." she looked at James for support before looking back at Nyx. "I was afraid you'd be annoyed."

"Well that was a different situation." Nyx replied, trying not to be terse. "Here we have the resources and ability to ensure you'll have a safe pregnancy and healthy baby. It'll be another great addition to the Pandora family. And your little boy or girl will likely be born around the same time as mine and Emilie's."

James laughed, “It will be nice to have some babies onboard ship, it should keep everyone busy.”

“I guess we’ll be keeping the medical staff busy with new arrivals then!” Krysia grinned as she looked at James before looking back at Nyx, “Sir....I guess I was pretty hard on you in the bubble, I took things personally and I shouldn’t have. I never had the chance to say it then but....I’m sorry.”

"Me too." Nyx smiled warmly. "Let's just leave it in the bubble, okay?" He turned back to his spot at the table and gathered up his PADD. "Well, I won't keep you both. Lieutenant," He nodded to Kaleri, "Before you leave Ops, make sure you speak with Nash about adjusting your living quarters. There should be a free family room on deck two."

Krysia grinned like a Cheshire Cat, “Yes Sir, I’ll do that thank you.” She almost jumped up & down for joy but thought the better of it while Nyx was in the room.

Smiling James said, “Once we are settled into our new quarters we would love to have you and your family over for dinner.”

Krysia nodded in agreement "Yes that's a nice idea, please do bring your family Captain."

“Absolutely.” Nyx replied happily. “I’ll speak to Ems to see what works for her. Other than that, is there anything else?”

Krysia looked at James then back at Nyx, “No Sir, nothing else”

James shook his head as well, “No I believe we covered everything.”

“Alright guys, thank you both for your time.” Nyx said with a smile.
