Aeryn was sitting resting her arm trying to figure out just what might have happened to those that had disappeared, turning her attention back to those around her she looked in Commander Nash’s direction.
“Commander can I speak to you...” she motioned towards the offices, “..in private”

Owen nodded. "Of course, Counselor" he said. He nodded to Lt Parrinno as she continued working at a nearby console.

Getting up and heading for Owen’s office she followed him inside & took a seat. “As hard as our current situation is on the crew I thought I’d see how you were coping, after all Lieutenant Kaleri is one of the missing & from what I’ve heard she’s also your sister?”

Owen smiled as he leaned against the desk. "News travels fast, doesnt it?" He joked. " Yes thats correct, Krys is my half sister to be exact, but we've gotten to know each other a little more since she came onboard."

Owen paused for a moment. "However she is also a member of this crew and one of a number of Senior officers and Bridge officers that are missing at this time, so my efforts are concentrated on finding out what happened to the Bridge Personnel," he admitted.

"Fair enough" Aeryn smiled & nodded, "I thought I'd ask just in case you needed to talk, do you have any ideas so far?"

Owen thought for a moment. "Well all I have is that the Senior officers and Bridge officers disappeared after the wave hit us... Yet we have no structural damage, no parts of the ship exposd to the outside that requires emergency force fields," he dxplained, know the facts.

"Yet, its almost as if they were shifted to somewhere off ship... Yet where and why escapes me," he admitted.

"The strange thing is..." Aeryn paused for a moment, "when I was walking around the bridge I had a really strong sense of Krysia, but not just her, the Captain as well. I can't explain it."

Owen considered the Counselor's remark for a moment. "Tell me Counselor, if it were possible, could you open your senses up to see if it was definitely Krysia and the Captain?

"I can try" Aeryn nodded, "what is it you're thinking Commander?"

"My thought is simple. If the Senior officers and Bridge officers aren't on board and scans prove that they aren't in the area... Off ship, yet you can sense them, then whats the chances that they could still be on board... On a copy of the Pandora?" He suggested.

"A copy of the Pandora??" Aeryn looked at Owen somewhat curiously, "exactly how would that work and better still how would you find them?"

Owen smiled for a moment. "My theory is this... When the wave hit the ship, everyone on the bridge is confirmed as missing when the good Lieutenant arrived..." He paused for a moment.

"However, you've already said that when walking around the bridge you had a really strong sense of Krysia, but the Captain as well... So my theory is, what if we could open up your abilities to see if you could make contact with them? Surely if you can sense them then they should be able to return that contact as well?" He offered as an explanation.

Owen internally admitted that it was a long shot but he was short on ideas and already aware that soon he would have to inform Starfleet Command of the situation.

"Even if I do sense something there's no guarantee that there'd be a way of making any contact" Aeryn looked at Owen, "what happens if I don't sense anything?"

Owen frowned at this point. "Its a shot in the dark at this point to be honest," he admitted. "If you can make contact, then we have a starting point...if not then the situation stays at square one where we are now and then we determine the next possibility to work with."

Owen walked over to Aeryn and stood close to her as he explained this next part. "I have already sent a report to Starfleet Command and its not a pretty one... Having a large group of the Senior Officers on the Bridge and any on duty Bridge personnel disappear without explanation wasn't a good way to start off a report..." He explained.

Aeryn nodded "Of course, I guess even some idea is a place to start rather than having no answers."

"Lets get assembled on the bridge and discuss this further with the others, there are a few things I need to explain but your help is vital," he explained carefully, knowing there was more to come in this investigation.

Aeryn nodded, "Very well Commander, let's hope we can solve this."
